Las Vegas National Golf Course! Designed by Bert Stamps, Tiger Woods fired a 1-under-par 70 at Las Vegas National in 1996 en route to his historic PGA Tour victory. The traditional course was a host for the PGA Tour's Las Vegas Invitational for several years, in addition to hosting other PGA Tour events and LPGA events throughout the years.
LPGA Hall-of-Famer Mickey Wright claimed two of her 13 major championships on the course by winning the LPGA Championship twice. Fairways meander through the shadows of mature palm trees and greens flanked by sand traps and ponds. Five intriguing par 3s (the toughest set in the valley) offer a stern test, while mid-length par 5s offer good chances for par or birdie. You will forget you are in the desert when you visit the Las Vegas National Golf Club. This championship golf course is the former home of the PGA Tour's Las Vegas Invitational and is conveniently located only two miles from "The Strip." Classic in design, this
golf club combines rolling fairways, glistening lakes, and greens well protected by palm, pine, and olive trees.
