Facts About the Jubilee Show: Elevators that raise and lower cast members to and from the stage floor take 30 seconds or less to go from stage level to basement level, there are 5 speeds, 8 feet per minute to 40 feet per minute.

There are 100,000 light bulbs on the set pieces. It costs $50,000 per year to maintain and replace light bulbs. The show uses enough power for a small town of 1,000 to 2,000 people. The minstrel set, which is three stories tall, uses power enough for 20 homes (14,600 light bulbs). There are 125 miles of wire in the set pieces. 4,200 lbs. of dry ice per week is used for fog effects.

The heaviest overhead stage drop weighs 2,000 lbs. The Titanic is an exact replica and is constructed on a moving frame at a 60 degree tilt. The heaviest head dress weighs 35 lbs. Two women spend 75 hours per week maintaining 325 wigs for the show. The company goes through 1,500 pairs of tights per year.
