Based on the English landscape model of naturalistic design, the Ethel M® Botanical Cactus Garden features four acres of drought-tolerant ornamentals, cacti, and other succulents.

 

With a landscape base of 15,000 cubic yards of sandy fill and a special planting soil, the beds were raised and rookeries constructed using 400 tons of rock, thereby providing the best possible viewing experience for visitors.

The Liberace Museum is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Closed on Monday, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. Admission prices are $12.50 for adults and $8.50 for seniors age 65+ as well as students with valid ID. Children ages 10 and under are FREE. Admission for Museum members and children 5 and under is free.

Bellagio's world famous fountains will speak to your heart with classical Italian opera broadcasted over speakers, while flirting with your playful nature through their carefully choreographed water fountain movements. Treasure Island Sirens (Pirate Battle)

Hours: Nightly at 7:00 p.m., 8:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. in Sirens' Cove at the front entrance of Treasure Island Hotel and Casino. Plenty of room to watch from the Las Vegas strip or from within the hotel grounds.

The Sirens of Treasure Island begins with a 17th century clash between a group of beautiful, tempting sirens and a band of renegade pirates. With their mesmerizing and powerful song the Sirens lure the pirates to their cove, stir up a tempest strong enough to sink a ship, and transform Sirens’ Cove into a 21st century party. Experience music, dance, excitement and seduction.

Mirage Volcano

Every thirty minutes from 7:00 p.m. to midnight, the earth shakes and flames shoot into the night sky spewing smoke and fire 100 feet above the waters below, transforming a tranquil waterfall into spectacular streams of molten lava.

 

The volcano at The Mirage has been a Las Vegas signature attraction since the resort opened in 1989, mesmerizing spectators with it thunderous, fiery display. The volcano, situated on three water-covered acres, is 54 feet high and circulates 119,000 gallons of water per minute.

 

The show is free to the public. Show may be cancelled during times of high winds or inclement weather.

This page contains information about: Las Vegas Attractions up and down the Las Vegas Strip. The most popular free attractions are the Bellagio Fountains, which are a true delight to all, no matter how many times you have seen them in you life. Secondly, another attraction, the Mirage Volcano, erupts every 30 minutes after dark. The foremost and enjoyed spectacle, would be Treasure Island's Pirate Ship battle, which also is free and fun. Of course, there are many other things to see and do, such as simply strolling up and down the Las Vegas Strip. People watching, dining and dancing are very prevalent. Each casino hotel has its own theme, all designed to cause a crowd to gather, and possibly stop in. The Excalibur hotel has a Medieval theme, the Paris Las Vegas has its own Eiffel Tower and French architecture. The Bellagio has an Italian theme, with many of their fountain shows including Italian music. The casino has many shops as does the final attraction, Caesars Palace Forum Shops and outdoor fountain displays. A Greek themed hotel, Caesars is an old time favorite. No matter what your desire, Las Vegas Nevada has an attraction just for you!
