Dionne Warwick
Dionne Warwick is a legend in contemporary music circles, garnering numerous accolades over the course of her fruitful 35 year career, including five Grammy Awards, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and a "Luminary Award" from the American Society of Young Musicians for her tireless work and dedication to the various causes. Some of her best known songs include "A House is Not a Home," "Alfie," "I'll Never Love This Way Again," and the first of her humanitarian music efforts to increase awareness for AIDS research "That's What Friends Are For." Warwick continues to record, perform, and participate in various charitable projects ranging from international awareness for health to the development of a book detailing the history of Africa and African-Americans.
