This year marks the 20th anniversary of Donn Arden's lavish stage
spectacular. There's A-1 tune-crooning, million-dollar sets, and the
most glitter this side of Hollywood with costumes by Bob Mackie. And

Jubilee! is one of the longest running extravaganzas in Las Vegas. It
continues to rate as one of Las Vegas Finest Production Shows! With

Originally premiering in July 1981, Jubilee! has astonished millions
with its spectacular sequences, such as the Sinking of the Titanic and
the Destruction of the Temple of Samson. The cast numbers nearly 100
dancers, singers and specialty acts, all appearing on one of the

Elevators - it takes 1/2 minute for the elevator to reach stage level
from the basement; there are five speeds, 8 feet per minute to 40 feet
per minute.
There are 100,000 light bulbs on the set pieces. It costs $50,000 per
year to maintain and replace light bulbs.
The show uses enough power for a small town of 1,000 to 2,000 people.
The minstrel set, which is three stories tall, uses power enough for
20 homes (14,600 light bulbs).
There are 125 miles of wire in the set pieces.
4,200 lbs. of dry ice per week is used for fog effects.
The heaviest overhead stage drop weighs 2,000 lbs.
The Titanic is an exact replica and is constructed on a moving frame
